IN THE SUMMER OF 2013 I GOT LUCKY
by overhearing my landlord mention something called Bitcoin, prompting a Google search of "What is Bitcoin". What I found led me to buying my first Bitcoin via localbitcoins the following week. This catalyzed an obsession over the potential underlying crypto's decentralized technology.
In 2016, while my ongoing obsession continued to grow, the spectrum of crypto's potential widened after Ethereum's account-based blockchain model gave birth to a variety of innovative decentralized applications.
In 2018, I moved to Puerto Rico to launch Arturo Capital, a crypto fund with a mission to decentralize data storage. While the past few years of volatility in crypto has brought on its fair share of failures, surprises, and investment lessons, it hasn't distracted from my core mission of changing the way humans manage and value the data they create.
As a Director of Operations for 0Chain, I continue to work most closely with 0Chain on realizing this mission.
